EMBER & SALT
A cinematic restaurant site built around the open hearth, tasting menu, chef story, and a frictionless reservation path.
The brief
Translate the restaurant's fire-led cooking and coastal setting into a site that creates appetite and moves quickly to reservations.
Design decisions
- Close food photography and compact typography create a sensory first impression without decorative effects.
- Story, menu, gallery, chef, and visit pages answer the questions guests check before booking.
- The reservation action remains visually distinct against an image-heavy, cinematic layout.
What this demonstrates
- A sensory brand story can create appetite while keeping the reservation path immediate.
- Menu, chef, gallery, and visit information can feel like one coherent hospitality experience.
- Cinematic imagery and direct conversion actions can stay effective on mobile without visual clutter.
